One of natures most captivating sights is that of the Bumblebee collecting pollen. To see the Bumblebee dance around a flower and settle gently never fails to inspire wonder.
The Bumblebee Brooch brings a ray of sunshine which can be held in the palm of your hand. This piece is delicately etched to bring an extra level of detail which catches the light.
I launched the first limited edition Bumblebee Brooch in August 2018. It was in a colourway called Sunchyme. Over the last 5 Years there have been 8 Bumblebee Brooches overall - This edition of the Bumblebee is the 9th and final Bumblebee Brooch in this format.
There is a different Bumblebee & Hive Brooch (in the Attraction collection) which is not limited.
The Bumblebee Brooch in Creativity colourway is strictly limited to 75 pieces. 25 were allocated at Brooches By The Bay (Brisbane) in May 2023 and the remaining 50 will be available exclusively on the Sstutter website. Each one of the Bumblebee Brooches will be etched on the back with the edition number.
The Creativity colourway is one of the new 2023 colourways. Creativity is an impressive high contrast modern colourway. The acrylics used in this piece are black gloss, gold mirror, hi-vis pink, mint green & ivory. This colourway is unlike anything I have done before and is a truly original and captivating colour combination.
Creativity is a colourway inspired by the Sstutter values - Creativity, Passion & Self-Expression. Creativity caries the ethos of intensity, innovation and is made for making statements. This is a colourway made for individuals. The Bumblebee Brooch has always been popular so to end the series on this vibrant new colourway is the perfect finale.
The Bumblebee brooch is approximately 1.3” (35mm) x 1.3" (35mm) in total.
Made from laser cut acrylic with a brooch back attached.
This product is carefully presented inside a Sstutter gift box which has a foam interior. The package also includes a small suede pouch and a Sstutter care card.
